A: due to your unique genetics, hair growth is different in each individual. There is no guarantee, but generally you may see hair regrowth in around 6- 8 weeks.
A: Hair regrowth should be starting around the time you are thinking about your next appointment. It’s actually better for your long term hair removal results if you wait until your hair has grown out about 1 1/2 weeks extra after when you would normally shave. A: Hair growth can been embarrassing. Sugar can be used in any location where you have hair growth that makes you uncomfortable. If you would like a consultation for your specific situation please contact me using the form on the appointment page.
A: Studies have shown that routine sugaring will lead to the growth of thinner hair. Studies have also indicated that the hair follicle shaft may collapse and stop growing hair if sugaring is done on a regular basis
A: No – the sugaring compound is made with all natural, water-soluable ingredients. If the paste needs to be removed, we can simply wipe it away with soap and water – unlike wax, which would need to dry and then be pulled away
A: Sometimes it happens! The only downfall during this time is that you may be more sensitive. If the sensitivity causes the appointment to take a little longer the service cost may increase by around $5 – $10, but is normally not a problem
A: Sugaring paste is made with all natural ingredients – I have had several pregnant clients over the years. All have commented on how much better it makes the whole birth experience. The skin is more sensitive during this time, and it is recommended that you have your first session before you get pregnant. Otherwise, it is best to wait until after the third trimester, and to only sugar while your hair is in the telogen stage the first time. In other words, grow the hair a long time before you make your appointment
A: Yes – all male clients will need to bring their significant other or female friend to their appointment. This policy applies to all appointments and is intended to ensure the comfort of the client as well as the technician. Thank you for understanding.
A: Unfortunately due to liability issues, bringing your children to your appointment is not an option. An exception may be made for babies in car seats, but if your children are mobile or walking age you will need to make other arrangements during your appointment time. Thanks for your understanding
A: Services for those under 18 years of age are available, however, a parent must come to the first appointment with you and sign the waiver.
A: Pricing can vary due the amount of hair growth and the coarsness of the hair. The services listed note a starting price but may vary if there is a large amount of hair or very coarse hair to be removed.
